did i mentioned that we went praying for spiritual guidance from the temple last sat before our race?

i went there to pray too. most of us did. the temple is split into half. the one we usually go and the other one which i'm gonna mention soon. the usual prayers for good weather , good tide etc etc will be done at the main hall.

the other one which i went to pray after most of them had left is supposedly the one that helps you in your love life. heard HX said something like "i went praying to this god at the next hall and coincidentally i met at girl like 2 days later, which happens to be my gf now." okay... i had to try it out. who knows? it might jus help me.

okay up till now i dun see any changes.... no advance in any thing wat-so-eva.
but its okay... as long as i wait and pray and believe..... hopefully it does happen to me. hopefully the right one appears or i have found her. lets jus keep our fingers crossed for now eh?

**Note to all the girls out there: If u think that the owner of this blog is cool, or rather the coxswain of the girl's team in NPDB is cool... or u are interested.... i say go ahead!!! go and know him better!!!get his number!!!! hahahahaha...**

these few weeks of absence from the blogging world is partly because of the preparation of the very very important race. The Singapore River Regatta.
its one of the most important race for NPDB. i've been training had for the race too, training the girls hard too.

the race was held on the 26 and 27th, last weekend.
last fri we had our briefing, to get our race tee, to know more abt out lanes, etc etc.... but the most impt part is the getting of IVP jackets. was praying very hard that i'll get my jacket after waiting for a whole year for it. and guess what? I got it!!!! so so so happy when i recieved the jacket from coach. he said:" Do your best tmr ya" . that gave me the motivation to even work harder and put in wateva i had for the race. got our race tee too, looks nice.

i could feel the fire, the passion, the hunger during the briefing. looking at last yr's race, all the feelings whelmed up inside me......

quickly head home after dinner. must have plenty of quality sleep.
went home and rest well.
woke up fresh and ready for the race. this is it!!!! after so many months of training... it all comes down to these 2 days. wore the "battle suit" and headed for raffles. on the way there, met up with most of the girls. mad hella of a noise on the way there..... girls girls....

then sat came, the showdown of the dragons.
same routine, same place, new faces. raffles place. OUB plaza. u could see a bunch of pple from far wearing yellow tees. look like a bunch of bananas. phototaking session!!! as usual it took up most of the time, poses, smiles, flashes everywhere. laughter filled the air.

after that, we had to seek spiritual guidance, we went to the temple and prayed as usual. i prayed hard for our guys and girls

okok... skip to the more impt part....
2nd event... girls open. first regatta race... abit nervous. but overall felt good. the starting was a lil bad. i kinda screwed it up. leading to the girls not able to qualify. felt like shit when i came up. coach gave me a tongue lashing. i totally deserved it. i'm so sorry girls... so very sorry to coach too.

became so so so demoralised after that.
then later came ivp. i made very sure that i will not commit the same mistake.
and i didn't!! we qualified for the finals. thats on sunday.guys on the other hand did us proud too..... the seniors esp. the juniors however wasn't that lucky. but its okay.... juniors.. treat it as an experience. forgive but do not forget.

sat ended. was so so so tired after that. still have to wash my race tee and shorts for sunday. the water that soaked the shirt came out looking like urine!!!! ewww... disgusting......

sunday came..... the finals!!!!

lets talk abt the girls first. we had a very very strong heats. facing strong opponents. and we ended up 4th. i felt that it was in fact one of the best set the girls had ever. but.... when we came ashore.... all the girls started crying..... i know they're disappointed, so am i.(once again... i think its my fault again.)calmed the girls down.

as for the guys. they really did us proud. the got a sliver for the IVP guys. the same event last yr that ended up in a tragedy. the guys have won it for our seniors.

as a whole SRR'05 was a good race. lessons learnt, experience gained.

Note for girls: To the graduating seniors, i am so so so proud of you girls. i know u girls did ur best in the race, so rest assured, next year i'm gonna get the medal back for you girls. i'm also very proud to have been in the same boat as u girls, u girls are wonderful. feel very privilleged to train with u girls. i will miss u girls when u girls leave. but dun worry i'll always remember u. as for juniors. lets work hard to fight for our seniors. work hard for them. work hard for the glory the seniors have left us.

Note for guys: You guys did NPDB proud once again. so so proud of you guys!! continue to train hard. lets strive for better results next year. seniors you have proved yourselves that u guys are strong, for that i give u guys my outmost respect. juniors, one incident will not bring us down, learn to get back form the fall, become stronger. work harder for next year!!!

this whole week has been emotionally and physically draining and challenging.
i started my own power training.... school ... girl problem. arghhhh... gonna go crazy.

firstly. i started my own iintensive-and-power-yet-endurance training. how? tues was the girl's napfa. did the normal warm up of 100 push ups b4 going to the test. pull ups was okay. went to pull a lil. then sit ups nothing much. then came 2.4km run. decided to push the girls real hard. ended up i was the one pushing myself to the limits, was practically sprinting up and down pushing and encouraging them throughout. didn't know if they appreciated it, but i was really happy when most of them told me they had improved, somehow i told myself that it was all their own hardwork and a lil of my encouragement.

then after napfa, i went straight to the guys gym session. endurance!! after napfa and stuff? no prob. endured everything through.tues- napfa & endurance gym.
then came thurs. now its the guys turn for napfa. napfa? no prob. wack again. pull ups improved!!! so happy, finally all my hard work had paid off.17 pull ups!!! improved from the previous 1 digit number of pull ups.but my sit ups dropped tremendously. must be all the eating and lack of abs trg. but no prob. after napfa. gym!! girls time to gym. i couldn't possibly do girls weight. so guess what? took the huge bar.( the bench press bar) then added arnd 7.5kg to it. if i'm not wrong its approx 15kg, and i used it for endurance!!!! its been quite sometime since i can wack gym using such heavy weights. and it turned out all right. thurs-napfa & power endurance gym.

anyways that enough for my power trg these few days.

then came girl problems.

jus know that the fact that i'm not attached to anyone... and therefore SINGLE and AVAILABLE.

so i've decided to jus sit back and not find anymore girls from now. now its girls come and find me eh? judging from my looks i don't think there will be any. so i think i'll be single for quite sometime ya?

** to all the hot babes/girls out there. if u think that the coxwain from npdb girls team's cool. go ahead and ask him out or somethin. he might jus agree!**

went to rauf's house on fri. was the first one there. its been quite sometime since i saw my bro. still never change. then her mother kept taking out all the goodies. omg... goodies!!! starting pigging out on their cookies and cakes.SOOoooo delicious and sinful.

then slowly the gang... or rather the family turned up at rauf's house. grace, followed by hwad and wilfred!!! ma bro that i have seen like for aeons ago. still not much change. missed him man... his lame jokes and stuff. ben came,then caleb and finally the ever late huihua. had something like a dinner there. man.. rauf's mom can really cook!!! ate like 4 servings man....

then played cards till we were so very late for our meeting with charles and kim yew at PS Swensens. so sry brothers.

had a TOPLESS 5.... woohooo love it to bits. its simply a sinful indulgence.

guess what caleb brought his gf to meet the family man!! our one big family. haha.. it was hilarious. i told rauf that her gf will be so scared of us so much that she might not even dare to come and meet us after tonight. hahahha.... and she looks so much like one of my sec sch mate, adeline. they look so simliar!!!! hmmmm... caleb had something for adeline in the past?? hahahaha.... shall not go find out.

the weather today... is scorching hot. i bet i can fry an egg on my head.
but all is not bad for such a hot weather. i got a good tan!

today's trg was erm somehow good and bad.

firstly good because i can see the girls pushing hard. thats good.
but when coach corrected the seniors stroke in a harsher way. i felt bad,because it shows that i have not done a good job in correcting and reminding the girls of their strokes, so its also fault on my side, for that i'm so sorry for everything.

anyways went to subway to have lunch. the meal cost a BOMB!!!! its like bread with fillings, drinks and some cookies and it cost 8 bucks!!! ... gotta go less of subway frm now.

was so very very worn out after all the walking arnd sim lim, with my bunch of buds. KY,BEN,JIANSHENG,TREDDY,JUNWEI,SHUNDE. we were all weary and sleepy when we entered the train. once there was seats available, we quickly took it and fell asleep almost immediately.

the sleep on the train was barely enough. slept somemore after having another shower. the weather practically evaporated all the water in my body!

nothing much more. skool as normal tmr.more movies tmr yeah?hahaha...

to start off the new skool term. i was late for class, to make things worse, it started raining on my way to class,hafta run with my bud MARK to class together. then met Ewai and Yan on the way. went to class late together. another shrewd and petty teacher.(must i have a shrewd and petty teacher every sem?)

anyways.... next class.... materials. finally a teacher of other races. and indian teacher! for the past 1 yr and 1 sem all i have were old, chinese teachers. this indian teacher have a very nice initials.msn! thats his initials! ain't it cool? msn@np.edu.sg? coool..... he's one clever guy, nice person. hopefully teaches well.

next up... a rather ordinary teacher. nothin much abt him.

got a new overseas student in our class for a sem. he's from finland! thats pretty cool! i got the slightest feeling he's gonna regret it, comin to our class.(thats if he's the studious and hardworking one)

anyways.... its also till today that i realised quite a number of pple read my blog! prob bcos of my post abt the girl? hahaha...
